We are pleased to announce the program of the international scientific conference which will be held in Vilnius this year Thursday and Friday 23-24 September in honour of Marija Gimbutas.
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Marija Gimbutas, the eleventh International Conference “THE NEW OLD EUROPE” within the cycle of “Readings by the prof. Jonas Puzinas”.
The International Scientific Conference will propose an in-depth study of Marija Gimbutas' research on the history of European civilizations, recognizing the importance of her work in the scientific field and presenting the latest research from different perspectives. The conference will take place at the National Museum of Lithuania, the Old Arsenal, the Lithuanian Archeology Exhibition, Arsenalo str. 3, Vilnius, XNUMXnd floor.
The conference is free and will be held in English.
