We at Preistoria in Italia asked 10 questions to the philosopher who wrote the text Matriarchal Societies of the Past and the Rise of Patriarchies. Western Asia and Europe to delve deeper into the themes covered in his latest work and discuss together themes that we often encounter in our pre-historical research.

Heide Goettner-Abendroth directs the International Academy Hagia (www.hagia.de) for Modern Studies on Matriarchy and Matriarchal Spirituality and is recognized as the founder of Modern Matriarchal Studies, a new epistemological field for the structural definition of the matriarchal social form. She has been elected among the thousand Women of Peace of the world and nominated twice for the Nobel Peace Prize.
